We're in a financial crisis. In all history the financial crisis couldn't be stopped by reducing spendings, but it could by spending. And religious issues? I simply can't understand why you wouldn't choose a better leader rather than someone you have no religious issues with. Look at Obama. He's supported by nearly all citizens in Europe. He could bring the US & Europe closer, to fight the economic recession, the terrorists. He managed to win so many people for him. He can bring those people together with his wonderful speaches.
Anyways, it's also clear you have no idea what Obama wants to do, but Obama wants to reduce some taxes aswell, incomes till $150,000 or $250,000 will pay less to the state.. Just the rich are going to pay a bit more, and they can afford it.

Joanie lives alone. Her family grew up on welfare with her biological father sending child support to help. She was never starving, but now that she is 18 she no longer receives child support from her mother, and aside from that now lives on her own. She works full time at a pharmacy but makes little over minimum wage. She's very lucky; her job pays minimal health and dental insurance, but she won't recieve either benefit for nine months.

Unfortunately for her, she has a split tooth that has been infected. It is growing worse and worse day by day to the point where she needs to call off from work, afraid of being fired. She pays $300 for a doctor to look at it, then the doctor says she needs two operations: one to have the tooth removed, and another to have a fake tooth, or even just a spacer, implanted in her mouth. Problem: it's going to cost her over $3000 since she doesn't have insurance, and she doesn't have anywhere near that much after paying housing fees and living costs.

TRUST ME. SHE DEFINITELY WANTS THAT HEALTH INSURANCE you say she is simply too lazy to get. And if you really look at it, there are many people who are far, far worse--suppose she had been in a car accident and couldn't work, and needed expensive medicine and operations to simply stay alive.

Joanie is a real person I know. And yes, I also know *beep*s who abuse the system, like my uncle. But please don't generalize with some crap excuse like "the poor don't mind being poor" or are simply "too lazy to get insurance."

I dare you to find a reputable medical journal that actually uses that term. Partial birth abortions are a myth, it's just a term pro-life people coined because "late term abortions"(the real name) didn't sound scary enough.

Here's a little fun fact about late term abortions, vast majority of them are for medical reasons, if the parents wanted to get an abortions there was plenty of time to do it before it reached the phase of late term abortion. Let me repeat that, most late term abortions are done because of pregnancy complications that would put the mother's life at greater risk if she didn't have it.

Late term abortions are a medical necessity, you retards just got had by a change in term usage by the pro-life crowd. I bet you didn't even know what "partial birth abortion" was before now, you were against it because it sounds like you're killing somebody.

There are also poor people who work very hard, but they can't afford school, even though they want to. How do they get succesfull? And really, going to school for years probably won't even get you a $250,000 salary. Atleast, I hope it doesn't, because the difference with poor people who live off $140 a month is even worse than I supposed it was. The tax change probably won't be that big either. I suspect a maximum change of 5%.
This tax change is to give those people who are extremely poor, but want to get higher up a chance. They deserve it just as you do, don't you think? Give me one reason why some people shouldn't be able to study, and get their succes.

...my mom came from a poor farming family...they took out a loan, she went to college...she married my dad, they graduated...and now we are upper middle class.&nb*beep* I just not understanding what you are saying? My dad wasn't rich either. His dad worked with trains and he was a WWII veteran.

My parents are having me pay for the majority of my college tuition so that I learn how to be financially responsible. My dad is a banker...if he saw any trouble on my end, he would give me some help and then it would be solved. So it is not like I am getting breezed through college...and I think my college gives some sort of health insurance...but not 100% sure

whoa whoa whoa mielo! i never said i didnt like him becasue he was black! as i said im happy that a black man was able to get to president it shows that the discrimination between races is diminishing (stil lthere but diminishing). i jsut dont happen to like this specific black person. quite frankly i dont like mccain either. but i am by no means racist

Now you don't know what your talking about Sir Spoon. :) Anubis has an iq of 132, and while he hasn't been in some of the western states like California, he has been in every state east of Utah, and has definately been in more foreign countries than Obama. He's lived in, LIVED IN NOT VISITED, Japan, Korea, Germany, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and a lot more. lol And Anubis never curses so he must be seriously pissed off. Hitler was a genius, and an amazing leader. He had a vision of Germania and he stuck to it. His vision may have been horrible to a vast ammount of people, and he was without morales for those people. Bush on the other hand, may not even know who hitler is.

PS: Im not saying Hitler was a good person, just an amazing leader, and very charismatic.
